AMY FAREWELL (nee CHIDLOW) AUGUST 27, 1907 - APRIL 4, 2009 It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Great-Aunt and Sister, Amy. Amy was predeceased by her beloved husband Retlaw on May 8, 1973; her parents Henry and Catherine Chidlow; brothers Jack, Hank, Tom, Jim and Bill; sisters Ivy Mae and Beth. She leaves to mourn her passing son Ross; brother Fred; her Angels Tracy No. 1 and Tracy No. 2; Carole, Marj, Cindy, Elanna and Ev; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Aunty Amy was a caring and devoted person. Her greatest joy was sharing special moments and holidays with her family and friends out at the Barker's at Teulon, MB. We will miss her Tuna salad. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with interment at Brookside Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be Doug and Tyler Barker, Alex, Ray, Brian Dewar, Darryl and Dale Menzies. Honorary Pallbearers will be all in attendance. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rick Hansen Foundation for spinal cord injuries at www.rickhansen.com.
