JOAN BEALL (BREACH)

JOAN BEALL (nee BREACH) On Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Joan leaves to mourn, her husband Steve; stepson Garth (Colleen); sister Irene (Garry) and their four children; and brother Bill (Peggy). Joan was born in Worthing, Sussex, England on July 22, 1935. Joan came to Canada and made her home in Winnipeg in 1950. Joan worked for MTS as a phone call operator for business that required a special type of operator. Joan had no children of her own, but loved to share her love as a baby sitter. Joan had worked as a volunteer for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Joan was also involved in exercises. Joan will be missed by many. Joan was admitted to Oakview Place in August of 2003. The family would like to thank the incredible services of the doctors, nurses and caregivers on 3 West (Third Floor) who were always caring and helpful to Joan. We wish them well. The family would also like to thank Garth, Joan's stepson for his dedicated attention to, and love for Joan. There will be no formal funeral service, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
