Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTANNAS EUGENE BROWN (nee CONNELL) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tannas Brown, our dear Mum, Grandma, Aunt and friend at Oakview Place on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Remaining to forever treasure her memory are her loving sons Don and daughter-in-law Dianne, Jack and daughter-in-law Nutan and her daughter Jean. Her grandchildren Craig, Erin, Alexis, Cassie, and Wes, were the light of her life. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tannas was predeceased by her husband Clare; parents Ella and John Connell; brothers Cam and Ken; sister Marg Armstrong and son-in-law Bill Cooper. Tannas was born in Neepawa on March 2, 1915 and raised on farms in Neepawa and Langruth. She met Clare at a bridge tournament and married on February 10, 1940. Following the war they moved to Winnipeg and raised their three children. After her children were grown, Tannas worked for many years part-time in the Royal Doulton shop at Eaton's. She became a talented painter at the age of 40. Tannas will be forever remembered for her countless amazing works of art, her love of china and Doulton figurines, her home-making and her gentle quiet manner. We would like to thank the wonderful staff of 1 East (Daffodil Lane) at Oakview Place for their devoted care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial tea for friends and family will be held in the Spring of 2012, announcement pending. Bardal Funeral Home and Crematorium 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
