GEORGE KATSABANIS With great sadness the family announces the passing of George on December 14, 2011, at the Health Sciences Centre. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Maria; his children Yanni (Heather) and Tassos; his mother Vasilaiki; sister Fotina (George); and brother Agalies; along with many other family and friends. Prayers will be held Wednesday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location with Rev. Fr. Theodore Paraskevopoulos presiding. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
