Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEINZ GERMERSHAUSEN 1934 - 2011 Heinz was born on July 5, 1934 in Bochum, Germany. He passed away on December 16, 2011 with family at his side. Heinz will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lilly of 49 years, daughter Heidi (Dennis) Powell and grandson Tim of Salem, Oregon, son Steven (Michelle) of Calgary, Alberta, and daughter Rita (Terry) Wittig of Beaconia, Manitoba. He also leaves behind his mother Emily Germershausen, and his sister Ingrid (Arthur) Keller of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Ada Tiedtke, brother-in-law Adolf Kauss, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his stepfather Albert, in 1985. Heinz worked at Canada Packers for 35 years, and retired from work at the Grain Exchange in 1999. A special thank you goes out to the paramedics for their efforts. Memorial service will be held at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 21, at 11:00 a.m. Following the reception, interment of the urn at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for Camp Nutimik, P.O. Box 34006, R.P.O. Fort Richmond, R3T 5T5.
