Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL (HERMANSON) L'HEUREUX (nee SORENSEN) In celebration of our mother's long and fulfilled life, it is with deep regret the family announces the passing of our mother, Pearl, on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the age of 100 years. Remaining to forever cherish Pearl's memory are her surviving children, Anita, Léonne, Noëlla, Edouard (Elsie), Paullette (Claude), Doris and Carmen (Denis); stepdaughter, Jeanie; daughter-in-law, Alice; brother, Alex (Velma); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has been predeceased by her husbands John Hermanson and Eddie L'Heureux, and sons, Levis and Gerry. Our beautiful mother surely lived up to her quote Family First. Thank you to D Unit 3 at Taché Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Condolences may be sent to www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca. Although I am unable to be with you today please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. David & I were very fond of your mother. She was a kind and understanding woman. David passed away 6 months ago and I believe he would have been one of the many at Heaven's Gate there to welcome your precious Mother home. Chère Grand-mère Pearl, Your kind, warm and welcoming nature always made me feel special, I can still hear you laugh.... Your sense of style will always been an inspiration - you can run a household, can hundreds of jars of preserves and have plenty of energy to enjoy the nice things in life. A story that will be told and retold. I am proud that I now live next to Denmark and feel a strong connection to our ancestors. We will miss you! En mémoire de grand-mère Pearl. Je garde des souvenirs heureux de toi grand-mère, cars dans ma vie tu était vraiment une grande dame. Lors de mes nombreuses visites chez vous (d’enfance et de jeunesse) c’était votre ordre, propreté et air de calme et de paix qui ma toujours marquer. Mais plus que cela, c’était votre patience et amour. Merci grand-maman!
