KNUT (KEN) LINDSTEIN
Born: Jan 17, 1926
Date of Passing: Dec 25, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKNUT (KEN) LINDSTEIN January 17, 1926 - December 25, 2011 In memory of a loving and private soul. Ken had been struggling with Lewy Body and Rigid Parkinson Disease (Lord my troubles are over now). Born in Sweden, Knut came to Canada at the tender age of one and a half. His career was with the R.C.A.F. - Safety Equipment. He had a great love for the outdoors - camping, hiking, fishing and skiing. He viewed and treated nature as it should be; admired and enjoyed, and always stopped to smell the flowers . Ken will be terribly missed by his wife of 32 years, Joyce, his children Shawna, Ken Linnea, Harry and Marguerite, and stepdaughter Cindy Detombe. ...Dear Ken All my tears have reached the sea Part of you will live in me ...deep down within my heart I'll remember you...when I'm out walking When the snow piles high outside the door Late at night when I'm not sleeping And the moonlight falls across the floor... I'll remember you... ...will love you forever...and a day- Joyce. Thank you to the staff of the previous Fort Garry Care Centre for helping us through our very trying first year away from home... Special thanks to the Riverview Health Centre and staff for the excellent care and love he received for the past six years. As per Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. His ashes will be scattered along the trails he walked and loved.
