Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ELAINE MCDONALD Peacefully on December 31, 2011, at the age of 75, Patricia Elaine McDonald took her last breath on this earth and went to be with the Lord. Her children were by her side. Patricia is survived by her sons David and Rob (Lianne), and one daughter Terri (Steve). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Lauren, Jordan, Carly, Joey and Allyssa, three brothers Phil, John and Tony, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband David George, of 52 years and her eldest daughter Leslie. Pat spent her early years in the West End and then around the age of seven, they resided in Elmwood where she would later meet her husband David George at the age of 15. They were wed at 20 and moved to various places throughout Winnipeg, but always came back to East Kildonan where they ended up raising their four kids. She was a very dedicated mother and would do just about anything for her family. She taught her children to help others and to have compassion for anyone less fortunate. She worked through the years in and out of the home, but her greatest pride was tending to her family and having many meals for others to enjoy with us. She loved entertaining and sharing her home with others. Pat also enjoyed the many trips she and Dave went on to British Columbia to visit family. Our mom loved her Bowling League at Roxy Lanes and enjoyed the friends she made there. Pat had a wonderful sense of humour and her laugh was infectious. That is one thing we will miss deeply. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. We were very fortunate to have this terrific lady for our Mom, Sister, Friend, Aunt and Grandma. We also know that Heaven has just received another Angel. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. A longer obituary will follow.

So sorry to hear of your mother, my heartfelt condolences. I am glad to have seen her just before xmas, she was a rock and ear for me as Pat knew xmas this year for me was especially difficult as my Dad had passed away 1 year ago Dec.31 in the morning.
