Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERRI HAMMER (nee MEIKLE) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gerri Hammer, age 62, on January 16, 2012 at Victoria Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fred Hayden, her daughter, Dani (Russ), three sons Donny (Jessica), Randy and Lawrence. Gerri was a loving mother and grandmother. She always had a smile for everyone she met. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her. We would like to thank Victoria Hospital and staff for all they did. A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Friday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
