Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSE WIENS June 19, 1919 - January 21, 2012 Suse Wiens, age 92, of Steinbach passed away peacefully at Bethesda Place on Saturday evening, January 21, 2012 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was predeceased by her dear husband Hans Wiens, and her adopted daughter Erika. She is survived by four daughters, four sons-in-law, 11 grandchildren: Elfrieda (Fritz) and Ernie Warkentin of Winnipeg, Lisa (Kevin) Woelk, Winnipeg, Deron (Naomi) Warkentin, Winnipeg; MaryAnn and Elmer Friesen of Swan River, Todd (Amber) Friesen, Swan River, Tricia (Stan) Friesen-Reed, Yorkton, Tara Lee (Derek) Bravinder, Thunder Bay, Timothy (Kristalyn) Friesen, Swan River; Lotti and Dick Klassen of Steinbach, Monica and Tyler Doerksen, Winnipeg, Rachel Klassen-Steinbach; Erika and Harry Hildebrand of Morden, Trevor and Kim Hildebrand, Winnipeg, Patrick and Crystal Hildebrand, Morden, Colin and Amanda Hildebrand, Morden; and 16 great-grandchildren. The celebration of Suse's life will take place on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at the Steinbach Mennonite Church, 345 Loewen Blvd. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment at Memorial Cemetery, Hwy. 12, Steinbach. Donations in Suse's memory may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9, the organization that rescued Suse and her family from starvation in her youth.
