Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER FREJEK July 7, 1924 - January 25, 2012 Peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 after breakfast, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather left to be with his soul mate and son. Peter will be sadly missed by his daughters Rose (Danny), Marie (Bob) and Jackie (son-in-law Bryant); Gege to Michael (Cinzia), Sherry (Harvey), Lisa (Derek), Jason (Caroline), Kimberley, his special angels Alexandria, Mikey, Ashlee, Brendan and Brooklyn, and sister Mary. He was predeceased by his wife Johanna, of 63 years, his beloved son Walter, granddaughter Lillian, parents, brothers and sisters of Ukraine. Peter was born in Ukraine and at the age of 18 was taken from his family during the war to work in Germany. There he met his soul mate Johanna and they were married in 1944. In 1949, they relocated to France and in 1951 they came to Canada and settled in Pointe du Bois to raise their family. Dad worked for Winnipeg Hydro until his retirement. They moved to Lac du Bonnet in 1982. Dad was an amazing husband, father and gege whose first love was his family. He loved us all with an unfailing, unconditional love and was always there for us. Dad was always there to give us a helping hand. His specialty was gardening. He loved floor curling and shuffle board. He was known as Gege to many, young and old. Special thanks to Dr. Van Gend and all the wonderful staff at the Pinawa Hospital for the excellent care given to Dad during his time there. Also a big thank you to the Homecare Workers for all the years of excellent care. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1 at Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church, Lac du Bonnet, MB with Rev. Fr. Jose Montepeque presiding. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Dad Vichnaya Pam'yat We love you and We will miss you dearly.
