  • Mel lives on in all of us who witnessed this gentle, humble and loving person. Except when the Blue Bombers were losing, Mel rarely raised his voice. Mel's compassion flowed to anyone who was in need. Even in his illness, Mel insisted, then travelled to help in building our house. Mel is now at peace, from the horrible pain of his last years. We are so thankful to have been a part of Mel's life and he of ours. God undoubtedly has a need in heaven that Mel has been called upon to fulfill. Very probably, it is to watch over and help others from heaven. Thank you Mel; God bless you and keep you, always. We will look for that smiling face and willing hand, when we meet again. Love, with treasured memories. Lana and Glen - Posted by: Lana and Glen Buchanan (Sister-in-law and brother-in-law) on: Feb 07, 2012
