SIMEON DUDIUK (SAM) Peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Grace Hospital, Sam Dudiuk, aged 90 years, beloved husband of Stefania. Sam was born August 31, 1921 in Kosmacz, Galicia, Ukraine. He immigrated to Canada in 1949 and was employed with the University of Manitoba until his retirement in 1987. Besides his wife Stefania, Sam leaves to cherish his memory, stepdaughter Grace (Burk); granddaughters, Diana, Adelle (Keith), and family in Ukraine, Poland and USA. He was predeceased by his parents and sister in Ukraine. Sam was a member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral for many years. He enjoyed gardening, going for coffee to the mall in Garden City and playing cribbage. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery.
