ELMER JOHN REMPEL January 30, 1940 February 15, 2012 Peacefully on February 15, Elmer passed away surrounded by his family. Elmer is survived by his partner Noreen, wonderful granddaughter Alexandra, his mother Agatha Leadge, his sister June (Glen), Bill and Diana, Kathy and Rick, Tim and Tracey, Diana and Barry and families. As well as being missed by his family members, Elmer will be greatly missed by his many friends. He was predeceased by his father John, and brothers Melvin and Marvin. Elmer worked at numerous jobs throughout his life. He drove trucks for most of his life and in his latter years, he worked for Mike Shemanski for the City of Winnipeg. A very special thank you to all his doctors, nurses and staff at CancerCare, as well as GH5 for being so very caring. Cremation has taken place. Elmer's wishes were that there would be no services; however friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at their home on Sunday, February 26 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Drop in!
