  • I met Helen when I was a messed up teenager at the Manitoba Youth Center back in the 70s. She helped me to make the right choices to not continue on the destructive path I was on... My only regret is that I found her too late to Thank her for all she had done and for the positive influence she had on me... I am saddened I will never sing for her again. God Bless you Helen.. I know you are in His arms.. You have left your mark on many lives here for sure... I wish I could have told you these things in person.. Circle games go on, and no tears in heaven... - Posted by: Kelly (friend) on: May 16, 2013

  • I am turly missing my aunt... she was more than an Aunt to me..I loved her w/all my heart..She was a wonderful artist & poet, & as a child & into her teens she was a dancer, an actress, she had many talents. As a young woman she got her degree in social working, she worked for the Manitoba Youth Centre back in the 70's. She was a stong willed woman, very independent. She wasn't one to have anyone make a fuss over her. As she got older, she stayed quiet & to herself & only let the one she loved close to her. I am so grateful that she let me get close to her & love her....I am glad that she had faith in family once again....I will always love you..I'll see you in my dreams...Wendyxoxox ' she never like to put anyone out of there way, she - Posted by: Wendy Sarrasin (Niece) on: Mar 04, 2012
