SARAH PETERS Sarah Peters (nee Thiessen), 67 of Landmark, MB passed away suddenly on March 4, 2012 at Ste. Anne Hospital. She leaves behind much loved husband John, sons Rodney (Pauline) and Kelly (Tracy), and much cherished grandchildren Dylan, Emily, Bailey and Austin John Peters. Sarah was born January 26, 1945 in Reinland, MB. She went to Reinland School and married John on April 25, 1965. She is predeceased by an infant son Randy, her father David, brother David, and father and mother-in-law Abram and Tina Peters. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her mother Sara Thiessen, brothers and sisters Henry (Carol), Helen (Jake) Froese, Neil (Val), Margaret (Larry) Reimer, John (Darlene), Pete (Nettie), Bernie (Joan); sisters-in-law Mary Peters, Tina (Henry) Klassen; brother-in-law Harold (Tina) Peters, and many nieces and nephews. Sarah and John spent many years active in softball and travelled extensively throughout North America. They spent many years at St. Pete Beach, enjoying the sun, sand, sea shells and flea markets together. Sara enjoyed gardening and her yard was always full of flowers in the summer. Sarah loved her family and experienced joy through their sports, accomplishments and individual milestones. Dear Sarah, mom, grandma, we will always cherish your time with us and love and miss you lots. Viewing will be held at the Silberfeld CMC Church on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church, Landmark with interment at the Silberfeld Cemetery. She is survived by her husband John, two sons and their families. Viewing will be held at the Silberfeld CMC Church on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church, Landmark with interment at the Silberfeld Cemetery.
