HUGHIE MCLEOD 1936 - 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hughie McLeod on March 4, 2012 at the Victoria General Hospital. Hughie was born in Windygates, MB and raised in Pilot Mound and Crystal City before moving to Winnipeg as a young man. He worked for 46 years at Bulloch's Ltd, later known as I.C.E. Mfg. Hughie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Donna, son Curtis (Donna), daughter Jill (Carlos), beloved grandchildren Paul, Kate, and Rachael, brother-in-law Mac (Donna), sisters-in-law Dorothy and Lee, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mac and Gwen, brothers Bill, Gordon, and Roderick. Hughie was an avid Bomber and Jet fan but his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren play their sports. He had a great sense of humour and loved to tease, brightening the lives of those around him. The family would like to thank Dr. Lowden and the staff on 4N at the Victoria Hospital for their excellent care. Respecting Hughie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hughie's memory may be made to D'ARCY'S A.R.C. (Animal Rescue Centre) at 730B Century Street, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0M1.
