JEANNETTE RUTH GILBEY (nee BARNES) Peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2012, Jeannette Gilbey passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at 51 years of age. Jeannette was born in Winnipeg at the St. Boniface Hospital on December 6, 1960. She was predeceased by her father Geoffrey, her mother Ruth and sister Barbara Belle Barnes. Jeannette leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Ben and Dan Gilbey, her daughters Jenna Benz and Sheena Gilbey and their spouses, as well as her three grandchildren who she loved and cherished dearly, Leah and Lily Gilbey and Miura Benz. Jeannette will be missed as well by her brothers Tom, Graham, Monte, Gordon and Garnet Barnes and their families, along with many close friends. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined; any donations may be made in Jeannette's memory to CancerCare, MB or a charity of your choice.
