Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATILDE QUENTAL Peacefully on April 1, 2012, Matilde Duarte Quental (nee Cabral), born in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores, passed away at Parkview Place at the age of 89 years. Matilde leaves to mourn her passing her beloved children Carlos Oliveira (Ivonne), Jose, Manuel Cabral (Manuela), and Maria Silva; sister Maria Teresa Silva in Kitchener, ON, eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Manuel and Maria Pacheco, first husband Evaristo Cabral; late husband Manuel Quental; brothers Nicolau, Manuel, and Eliseu; stepson Godfredo Cabral and son-in-law Eugenio Silva. The family expresses its gratitude for the outstanding care and kindness of the staff on the 4th floor of Parkview Place. Their support and thoughtfulness in those final days are greatly appreciated. Vigil prayers will be held at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street on Wednesday April 4, 2012, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2012 at St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington Street, with interment at Assumption Cemetery.
