FREDERICK WILLIAM WILLAN With great sadness we announce the passing of Fred Willan on April 4, 2012 with family by his side at 71 years of age. Fred is survived by his nine children, Jackie, Matt, Chuck, Freddy, Corrine, Stephanie, Melanie, Johnny and Nicole, 42 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son Corwin. Fred was a loving father and grandfather. Everyone knew him as Gramps . He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Fred enjoyed fishing, canoeing, horse racing, and especially spending time with his family. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. Viewing will take place at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Brokenhead, MB. Donations may be made in Fred's memory to CancerCare, MB.

  • My Dad was a good man, we had a lot of good times. He played the guitar and sang for us often. He also played the harmonica. He played good but was not the best at singing which was okay by us. He took us fishing and did a lot of out door things. We enjoyed it all with him. I will miss him very much. I love you dad and am glad you are at peace now and not suffering any more.
