Dear McWhinney Family, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I first met your dad when I was a young girl at Bronx. What I will always remember about your dad is that he was a kind man, a family man, and a real sports enthusiast! Even though he's in another place now, you'll find that he's never too far away. Very sorry to see the passing of Glen. I knew Glen through basketball and the YMCA and found him to be a gentleman and a fine competitor. Glen and his good friend Jimmy Bulloch always seemed locked at the hip on the basketball court. I was most pleased to see he was awarded as a member of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. Well deserved. I was lucky enough to have a few words with him at the Sports Hall dinner in November last year. My sumpathies to all his family.
