Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILIA LYNN MCKAY With great sadness our daughter, niece, sister and friend Cecilia Lynn McKay went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Cecilia leaves to mourn her mother Tracy (Henry) Aitkens, her father Randy (Jackie) McKay, her sisters Randi, Shasta and Jean, brothers Philip, Arthur and Christian, special friend Alex Hudson and best friends Julia Hudson, Sierrah Ross, Connie Hudson and Chelsea Kennedy as well as numerous family and friends, too many to mention. Cecilia was predeceased by her grandparents Tache McKay Sr. and Cecilia Mason, and Ambrose and Jean Hudson, her sister Kayla, and brother Joseph. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Fisher River Chief and Council, Fire Department, Gaming Commission, Crisis Team, Fisher Branch RCMP, Berens River First Nation, Berens River Chief and Council, Berens River Fisherman, Fisher River Community and surrounding areas. Thank you as well to the Aitkens family, Hudson family, and the McKay family. Finally, thank you to Voyage Funeral Home for everything they have done for our family during this very difficult time. Pallbearers will be Arthur McKay, Christian Aitkens, Dustin Boulanger, Raymond Mason Jr., Alex Hudson and Jarrett. Honorary pallbearers include Allison Everett, Julia Hudson, Sierrah Ross, Chelsea Kennedy, Breanne Smeduik and Tamaya McKay. Wake service will be held Friday, April 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Cremation will follow and the Memorial service will be held Monday, April 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave.

I chilled with Cecila once she was a coool person to hang out with ... she was really funny and outgoing, I always talked to her on facebook, like everydaay, and I really miss that, seeing her online, :( she was really close to my beautiful babysister Chelsea Patrick, who were really close to eachother, I wanted to get to know her more, I was supposed to be there for her birthday in June, but i was in school at the time when she told me , then i got a phonecall saying she passed away, I was really shocked and heartbroken! I couldnt believe it, because i just talk to her a day before that happend, I just wish she was still here, with her loved ones and her family. I will always remember with love Cecilia. I have fond memories of her, especially as a little girl; visiting with you at my house, and playing with the barbies, or on the piano. I remember her wonderful hugs, and that sweet smile of hers when she'd look up at me. She will always have a special place in my heart.
