JUDITH (JUDY) ANN JACQUES (nee PENNIE) July 20, 1944 - April 14, 2012 It is with heavy hearts and wonderful memories we say good bye to our mom Judy who passed away on April 14, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital after a year long battle with ovarian cancer. Judy is predeceased by her parents Peter and Martha, stepmother Lillian, husband Harry and brother Len. She is survived by her daughters Laurie (Brad and their children Jacob and Jamie), Cathy (Michael and daughter Olivia), Teri (Chris and their children Tyler, Maddy, Angus and Larz), stepdaughter Wendy (Dan and their children Jennifer and Justin), brothers Peter (Marie), Tom (Anne) and many nieces and nephews. Judy was born and remained in Winnipeg all her life. She loved Winnipeg and anything to do with it including Eaton's, The Goldeyes, The Bombers and Christmas parades. She was especially pleased that we got our Jets back. Judy was employed in the banking industry for many years, where she spent the majority of it working for the TD Bank. While employed there she made many lifelong friends. Our mom was well known for her sense of humor, baking and knitting. She would knit you a pair of pants if you asked her to. She loved her brothers, her girls and most of all her grandchildren. She has fond memories of camping at Toniata, playing sports as a young lady and having potlucks with her neighbours that always included her friend The Captain . She loved leafing through the Sears catalogue, watching curling and every Law and Order episode and we can't forget that every Sunday she would spend five hours watching Coronation Street. We would like to thank all the nurses and physicians who cared for mom at CancerCare Manitoba and Unit 4B at St. Boniface Hospital. A special thanks to Diane and Elise for their continued support and visits with our mom over the last year. It was greatly appreciated by us all. As per Judy's wishes she was cremated and her ashes will be placed in Falcon Lake. In lieu of flowers please send donations to CancerCare Manitoba or Ovarian Cancer Canada. We love you the MOSTY Mom!! You will be forever in our hearts and on our minds. Love Laurtles, Cattles and Tertles XOXOXO

Judy was one of my best friends. She was always there for me when I needed her and I will miss her dearly. She raised three wonderful daughters who are a tribute to her legacy. Rest in peace Judy. I'll see you again someday. - Posted by: Dianne Comeault (Friend and neigbour) on: Apr 21, 2012

Grandma You put up a hard fight over the last year and im proud of you for that. I have nothing but fond memories to hold on to and I am thankful for that. I will miss going to Goldeye's and Blue Bombers games with you and regardless if they won or lost we would always have a good time in one another's company. I could go on forever with a list of things I will miss doing with you but the thing I will miss most of all is YOU, your smile, your one in a million laugh. I know I was one of the many things that made you happy and I want you to know that I felt the same about you. I love you Grandma. May your soul Rest in peace - Posted by: Tyler Agnew (Grandson ) on: Apr 21, 2012
