Date of Passing: Apr 19, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM WESLEY WYVILLE Peacefully with his family at his side, William Wesley Wyville passed away at the age of 82 years on April 19, 2012 at the Ste. Anne Hospital. His last days, spent with family members and friends, were ones of acceptance, and of gratefulness for a full life. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife June, his three children, Joanne (Leo), Wayne (Barb), Kathleen (Brent); his five grandchildren, Keith (Rhonda), Kaitlyn, Allison, Ashley and Jodi ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Arthur, mother Sarah (Wyatt) Wyville, brother Stanley. Wes was born in Durham, Ontario to Arthur and Sarah Wyville, September 19, 1929. He was one of five children. He has two sisters Norma and Eunice, two brothers Stanley and Don. Wes started working at a very young age. He shared many stories about the different jobs he had and the places he would travel. Little did he know, that during his travels he would meet his lovely wife June, in Winnipeg. They would have been married 62 years this June 24. Wes and June lived in Toronto Ontario for 16 years. Having other jobs at first he eventually became a letter-carrier for the post office in 1954. They transferred back to Winnipeg in 1966, where he remained with the post office for 31 years. His goal was to retire at age 55, which he did. He enjoyed their cottage on Lee River at Lac Du Bonnet for 25 years, always keeping his vehicles shiny, and tinkering in the garage or shed. If something was broken, he would fix it. If he wanted something built, he would build it. After retirement he spent five years going to Texas with their fifth wheel, and made many friends while there. Wes also loved music, old time dancing, bingo, and he especially loved (riding his bicycle) in Paradise Village where they lived for the last 18 years. The family would like to thank all the Nurses and Caregivers who were so kind to him during his stay in the hospital. To Dr. Fredette-Thank You for all the kindness over the last couple of months and the caring to our family the day of his passing. Cremation has taken place, and the family will be holding a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., at Paradise Village in the Recreation Hall, on Paradise Drive and Spruce St Located on Hwy #1 East of Winnipeg, 4 miles past Hwy#12.
