MONIQUE M. PREVOST December 25, 1956 - April 29, 2012 Monique M. Prevost, age 55 of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012. Seeing her losing the battle with cancer, God decided to take her home to the big dinner party in the sky. Monique's life was a gift from the beginning coming into the world Christmas Day 1956. Monique is survived by daughter Billie Jo Hunter (Dave), son Steven Bonnar, and four grandchildren Jaymes, Sky, Graham and Sarah Hunter. She was predeceased by her mother Georgette Prevost in 2010. Monique enjoyed working as an Electrical Draftsperson at KGS Group almost as much as working with her co-workers. Monique's passions included hosting dinner parties with friends, shopping, sewing and crafts. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 4 at the New Bothwell Recreation Centre, 52 Park Bay, New Bothwell, MB at 7:00 p.m. A light snack and refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring your favourite dainty or dessert. Monique loved trying new dainty and dessert recipes. Interment will be at St. Michael's Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cooks Creek, Manitoba at a later date with immediate family. Thank-you to Dr. Schroeder and the staff at CancerCare and the Health Sciences Centre for taking care of Monique. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Monique's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Monique was one of the most talented, funny, generous and loving person I have ever known. Her infectious laugh made everyone around her happy just to be near her. Even though we didn't see her often, we will deeply miss her. - Posted by: Jocelyn and Dee Laffin and family (friend) on: May 15, 2012
