Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN MOYLE January 13, 1920 - May 12, 2012 Peacefully, on May 12, 2012 at the age of 92, Kathleen Moyle born January 13, 1920 passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. Left to remember Kathleen's spunk and love of life are her sisters Sylvia Coburn, Margaret Reid, Elsie Davidson (Bill) and Leona Kalinchuk, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kathleen was predeceased by brothers Will and Don, and sister Helen. Born on a farm in Graysville, MB, Kathleen spent her younger years helping out with her brothers and sisters and then moved to Winnipeg in the 1940s. From 1943 to 1945 Kathleen served in the Navy. Kathleen enjoyed travelling and took every opportunity she had to visit with family and friends near and far, whether it was by land, train or air. She enjoyed time with cousins in Scotland, family in Alberta and fun times in Alaska to name a few. A devoted sister, aunt, cousin and friend, everyone that knew Kathleen probably owned something she had knit or sewn. She took great joy and pride in watching all her nieces and nephews and as time went on great-nieces and nephews grow up. She always waited in anticipation for a new arrival and loved visiting with the kids and finding out what was going on in their lives. She loved her daily phone calls to her sisters and walking over on a nice day to have tea with her sister Margaret and whoever else happened to have stopped by. An independent woman, she will be greatly missed for her strength, compassion and kindness. As per her wishes, cremation will take place and a family gathering will be held at a later date. A big thank you to all the doctors and nurses who cared for her at the Victoria General Hospital as well as all her wonderful home care workers who without them she would not have been able to be the independent woman she loved to be.

I was about 12 years old the last time I saw her, but that memory has lasted a life time. Wish that I could have been able to meet her as an adult and talk about Ancestry on our family! Will always remember our time until we meet again! Loves! - Posted by: Lee-Ann Hines-Grern (Great Neice) on: Jun 21, 2013

When I was born almost 64 years ago, one of my baby gifts was a beautifully and perfectly knit dress by Kathleen. I am wearing it in my one year photograph, as is my younger sister Lori in her photo 3 years later. I still have the dress and although it has started showing signs of its age, it remains one of my prized possessions. My oldest daughter is named Kathleen. - Posted by: Dianne Sandulak (eldest daughter of her cousin, Wilma Sandulak (nee Roth)) on: May 17, 2012

Kathleen was a wonderful person who had zest for life unmatched by few others. When she made up her mind to do something, away she went. She loved to ride the Greyhound bus and travel all around the country. Kathleen loved to talk and visit whether it was with strangers or friends and relatives. She will be missed by all. - Posted by: Bob, Ruby, Jordan and Peter Kalinchuk () on: May 16, 2012
