CLARA FRANCES NEUFELD (WARD) (SCHREYER) June 6, 1923 - May 19, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, at home on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Clara is now lovingly reunited with her husband Dave and her sons Danny and Lorne. Clara lived on Arnold Avenue in Fort Rouge for many years and recently moved into Lindenwood Manor; she loved her new home and quickly got involved in many of the activities and making new friends. She will be deeply missed by her children David (June), Bob, Lil, Ron (Evelyn), John (Debbie), Jim (Bonnie), daughter-in-law Mavis, 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers and sisters: Leonard, Richard, George, Lil and Dorothy; their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service and interment will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery. Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, Saturday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. with burial following the service. In memory of donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society - 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. A mother holds her children's hands for a while, their hearts forever.   • Grandma Neufeld she was to me, even though I was Bob's (step)daughter. She kept in touch with me, after 30 years, even though I was not in touch with Bob. I look at her life, she was a strong woman who had faced many challenges. Very inspiring, and she was very positive and the laugh. I will miss you.   • As Melanie related, I too remember Auntie Clara's wonderful laugh. I have wonderful childhood memories of the two families camping. Auntie Clara was a very caring person and always took time to visit with us at Mom and Dad's when we travelled to Winnipeg from out of town. I will miss you Auntie Clara! My sympathies to the family.
