Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH AINSLIE Ruth Ainslie, aged 82, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:20 p.m. Mom was born December 20, 1929, to Herman and Wilhelmine Dueck in Tiegenhof, Poland (formerly Germany). She looked forward to eternity, has fought the good fight and finished the race. Mom is survived by: her sisters Elizabeth Janzen and Magda Bartel, her brother Edward Dueck, her children and their families: Paul (Denise) Ainslie, Lois (Helmut) Janz; grand-children: Curtis, Kelsey, Spencer, Marissa; Alexander, Elaine, Thomas, Nathan, Lucas, Sydnie, Chloe, and Montana. Mom was predeceased by her husband James Ainslie. There will be no public viewing. The service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach on Friday, June 1, at 2:30 p.m. with interment at Heritage Cemetery. So sorry to hear of the passing of Ruth. My mother (Elfrieda) was a good friend from way back when Ruth and family lived on Home St. and we lived on the next street Simcoe. I considered Tante Ruth and family as my family and was welcomed anytime to join in on baking or singing with the piano. I have very fond memories of those days. My mother (Elfrieda) is in Riverview and together with our family we want to say Tante Ruth will forever be in our hearts. She is with God and we pray for all of her family that fond memories will overcome.
