MICHAEL BRYAN MATWICHUK It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Michael Bryan Matwichuk, on the evening of June 1, 2012, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg Manitoba. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Maureen; his children Megan (Dimitry Tulkov), Kerri (Matthew), and Christopher (Rochelle), his grandson Mikey, along with two grandchildren expected to arrive this year. He is also survived by his father Michael Sr., his siblings Pat (Rick Mroz), Penny, and David (Natalie). He was a loving uncle, nephew and cousin to many. Michael was predeceased by his mother Florence. Born on September 9, 1957, in Kapuskasing, ON, Michael was raised in Oshawa and moved his own family to Winnipeg in 1999. Michael suffered many medical adversities over the past 12 years, but always managed to smile and laugh with everyone. Renowned by all for his kind and gentle heart, Michael always put the welfare of others before his own suffering, and now the man with the heart of gold is finally at peace and has taken his place with the Lord. As per his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service.
