Nanay was born in Pateros, Rizal, Philippines in 1913 and came to Canada in 1979 with her husband, Dionisio Enriquez who passed away in December 1981, and her youngest daughter, Elsa. She lived with her daughter Tachie and son-in-law Orval, in Winnipeg and traveled to visit her children and grandchildren in New Jersey, Manila, Calgary, California and Vancouver. She was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Jovita Torres in 2001. Thank you Nanay for all the unconditional love and support you gave us through the years. We love you and miss you but it's time for us to let you go to our Lord's loving arms. You will always be in our hearts. We also extend our gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of GA4 of Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion you've shown Nanay during her stay in the hospital and to the outpouring of support from so many wonderful friends.
