COLIN ANDERSON My dearly loved son Colin passed away on Monday, June 25 at St. Boniface Hospital at 46 years of age following a brain aneurysm. The hope and prayers carried him safely to Jesus. He is survived by his mother Margaret and was predeceased by his father Edwin in 2003. There is no measure as to how much his mother will miss him. His relatives here and in England, his friends and co-workers will all fondly remember him. His career started before he finished his schooling in landscaping leading to twenty-one years of service at Shell Refinery. He then moved on to driving long distance flat deck which was something he loved to do with integrity, safety, and great respect of the highways. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd on Tuesday, July 3, 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to Pastors Elda and Lewis Vansteenkiste, Marilyn, Monique and Beverly, prayer chains, paramedics, St. Boniface Emergency health team, supporting family and friends.

Colin was a great individual and dedicated worker. He enjoyed the many technical challenges working at the Terminal offered him and he met them all with enthusiasm. He loved to go on long drives and enjoyed the company of his parents on many of these. Colin enjoyed many friends from his Shell Oil days and I'm sure from among the people he was with the past few years. May he forever rest in piece. - Posted by: Dan Topham (Supervisor, Shell Canada) on: Jul 03, 2012
