Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK MYMRYK Frank Mymryk, age 88 years, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. Frank was born September 17, 1923, in Winnipeg. He was the son of George and Annie Mymryk. Frank was a heating and sheet metal technician and had his own business in St. Vital until the 1970s when he moved to Sioux Lookout, ON. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and blueberry picking. He was predeceased by his wife Irene (nee Berger) in 1989. Frank elected to move back to Winnipeg in 1993, and developed a loving relationship with Bernice Stecki. Together they enjoyed travelling, going to Casinos; taking bus trips; playing cards and bingo. Frank is survived by his first son Frank (Penny), grandsons Quinn (Christal), great-grandsons Parker, Ryan (Leah), Cruz and Zach (Wendy), and great-granddaughter Violet, granddaughter Stephanie (Darren) Caswell, and great-grandchildren Sophie and Carter. His second son Rodney (Marlene), grandson Steven (Jessica), great-grandson Seth, granddaughter Nadine, grandson Justin. Frank's third son Dan (Linda deceased). Sister Gladys (len) Simard, sisters-in-law Jeanne Mymryk and Chris Mymryk. Bernice's family welcomed Frank into their hearts as their own father and grandfather Ron (Lucy) Stecki, George, Pamela (Ryan) Sokoloski, Nicole, Michelle, Shirley (Rick) Mooyman, Wendy (Jessie) Harrisko and Tim. Frank was predeceased by his parents, sister Olga and brother-in-law Frank Duke and brothers Peter and Anthony. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or the Meadowood Care Home, 577 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3G5. Our condolences to the Mymryk and Stecki families. We will always remember Frank the sweet, soft spoken man. He always had a smile for everyone. He will live in all the hearts he leaves behind.
