  • You are always in my thoughts. Remembering all our holiday get togethers and you falling asleep after the meal, snoring!! Your nephews and I reminisce about you being a teacher and laugh at how you corrected our grammer! Love and miss you! Forever in my heart. • I know that I Wasn't mentioned in your obituary, probably because of loans hatred for me, but whether I'm a half sibling or not, I never thought that way. You were my brother no matter what. I was actually looking for you when you passed away, so I could reconnect with you. I may not have seen you in a long time but I thought of you always and wish I could have had the chance to talk to you again. I know you would have understood. I have always considered you my brother and don't think of any of any of my siblings as halves..all are just my brothers and sisters including you. As much as it hurt to not be acknowledged or accepted by barthelettes, I still attended your funeral with my head held high as I was taught. I love you and miss you and wish I had gotten ahold of you before it was too late. Just want you to know that I look at your picture everyday and I have heard alot about the amazing person you were by my friends in Brandon. Love always your sister Loretta-Lynn - Posted by: Loretta Kasprick-barthelette (Half-sister) on: Jun 23, 2015

  • I am sending belated condolences to Stew's family as it now seems fitting, being the Christmas season, when all feel the loss of a child/a son, no matter what their age is. I knew Stewart from a variety of settings. The memories I share are ones from his involvement in his community in Brandon. He loved being in Church-it gave him great comfort and peace of mind. He wrote great poems, that were published, for he wrote from the heart. In fact, he did everything from the heart. Social injustices, disrespect, acting in undignified ways upset him greatly, and was no secret. His love of children was apparent wherever he was. He had a great sense of humour which he shared with a great smile and laughter. Stew wrote me a beautiful, and professionally worded letter just prior to my retirement-dated December 26, 2008 of which I'll share the following. "God Bless. With great appreciation & love. Stew. PS. You're always 'Welcome' at my home". I know Jesus & God have welcomed Stewart into their home, and Stew will be there to welcome you all. It WAS my honour and privilege to know such a beautiful man--and my hope is that all truly continue to appreciate the beauty of his soul. May his Spirit shine brightly to all his family this Christmas season. Eternally remembered-Vichnya Pum'yate! "Beautiful people have a deep understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness and a deep loving concern." Stewart was such a man. Peace, Joy, Love, and Good will to all this Christmas season, and throughout your lives. - Posted by: sylvia Kukurudz (retired community health nurse) on: Dec 17, 2013

  • I will miss you forever as now you are with God and at peace. We were good brothers although you walked so fast I could barely keep up with you, and would yell at you that I'm telling mom and I'm going home so you would wait for me walking slow as you did not want to get in trouble with mom but I told on you anyways lol. We are missing you alot and will always be on all your family's minds love your brother F.B. Barthelette Jr. RIP - Posted by: Fernand Blaine Barthelette (Brother) on: Aug 30, 2012

  • I will always miss you. You always made me smile and laugh with all of your funny jokes. - Posted by: Amanda Barthelette (Uncle) on: Jul 16, 2012
