DOREEN DAUPHINEE 1936 - 2012 After many years of bravely living under the shadow of Parkinson's disease and most recently cancer, Doreen Dauphinee passed away at the Women's Centre in Winnipeg on Thursday, July 12, 2012. Predeceased by her parents, Archie and Florence Watson, she leaves behind her sisters, Wilma MacDonald of Winnipeg, Gloria (Milton) Holm of California, Lynda Campbell (Dave) of Ontario and brother Bruce (Laurel) Watson of Brandon. Doreen loved being the Fave aunt to all her nieces, nephews, and most recently a great-niece and great-nephew. She will also be greatly missed by her Aunts Dorothy and Ruth and numerous cousins. Doreen began her Federal Public Service career in April 1953, in Winnipeg and relocated to Edmonton in 1989 for Industry Canada. She retired and returned to Winnipeg in 2003. She held a commission with the Canadian Armed Forces (Air) and was an Associate Naval Officer. The family wishes to thank Doreen's caregivers and the nursing staff at the Women's Centre. There will be a celebration of Doreen's Life at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Bardal Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Society Canada.
