CYNTHIA MARSDEN (nee BEARDY) (CINDY) October 5, 1965 - July 18, 2012 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend. Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Tony Marsden; daughters Tanya (Preston), Jenna-Lynne and Kara (Ryan); grandchildren Kiara, Jordan, Bristol, Jaryd, Jaxon and Alyssa; parents Eleanor and Hugh Hunter; siblings Cheryl Ducharme (Larry), Darrell Hunter (Delores), Dorothy Sanderson (James), Arlene Hunter (Darrell), Vivian Caron, Sharon Bone (Clifford), Millicent Bernice McLean (Jacob), Florence Hunter (Chris) and Sandra Hunter Zhen (Qing); aunts Ida Ross (Marshall) and Mattie Brown; uncles Frank Beardy, Garnet Beardy (Darlene), Kingsley Beardy (Sylvia), David Beardy, Charles Beardy (Lucy) and David Hunter (Thelma); in-laws Julia and Samuel Marsden; sister-in-law Rachel Marsden (Allan); brother-in-law Sheldon Marsden; nieces Angelina Beardy (Devin) and Cassandra Marsden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother David Hunter; grandparents Emma and Solomon Beardy; aunts Sara Beardy and Eva Beardy; uncles Harry Beardy, Kenneth Beardy and Maurice Beardy. Cindy was deeply committed to her family and community. She adored her grandchildren and loved to travel with her husband. She enjoyed the gift of giving and would help others whenever she saw a need. She had a long career working with Interlake Reserves Tribal Council as Social Development Advisor, Narrows Education, Lake St. Martin First Nation, Dauphin River First Nation and the Provincial Government. She attended Success Business College and Teulon Collegiate. Cindy touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and she will be remembered for her beautiful smile. The family wishes to express special thanks to Interlake Reserves Tribal Council, Lake St. Martin Chief and Council, the Concordia Hospital staff as well as family and friends for their support during this difficult time. Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, at the Deliverance Centre, 1831 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, Manitoba. Interment will follow at the Lake St. Martin Cemetery, Lake St. Martin, Manitoba. Reverend Charles Beardy officiating. Active Pallbearers are Barry Beardy, Vincent Caron, Steven Hunter, Ryan Kavanaugh, Sheldon Marsden, Mathew Traverse and Crossbearer, Alison Ross. Honorary Pallbearers are all who knew her.   • It is never easy to loose someone you love, but trusting in God and asking Him for the support and guidance brings comfort, and knowing that your loved is safe in the arms of the Lord is the greatest legacy ever. Always pray and follow the teachings of our Lord and you will never be alone.
