ROBERT (BOB) MAZA January 3, 1933- July 27, 2012 With deepest regret, we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, and grandfather after a lengthy battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife June, daughter Susan (Ron), son Fred (Jennifer), granddaughters Sarah and Samantha, and his four legged friend, Sophie. Bob was a Locomotive Engineer at C.P.R. and loved his job. His many interests were fishing, woodcarving, bowling, and going for coffee with his friends in Winnipeg and at Winnipeg Beach. He was a man who made friends easily and was gracious to everyone he met. His main focus was his family and the summers he spent with them at the family cottage in Sandy Hook were his greatest joy. It was there that he built many memories for his granddaughters and he loved every moment that he spent there with his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone. We would like to thank Dr. Hiebert and the Palliative Staff and St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care. A thank you to Dr. Permack and Sandy, Dr. Park and Nancy, Dr. Leylek and Jennifer, and Louise and the Palliative Home Care Nursing Staff. A private service has been held.
