HANNA SUDFELD Unexpectedly, yet peacefully on August 27, 2012 Hanna passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home at the age of 78 years to be with her heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Werner (Meta), Walter (Angelika), Martin (Elvira); sisters, Maria Machel (Heinrich), Martha Goetz, Magdalene Gollub; sister-in-law Sigrid Sudfeld. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Hanna was predeceased by her parents Gustav and Anna (nee Landwehr) and her brother Wilhelm. Hanna was born in Germany and moved to Canada in 1957. She cared deeply about her family and devoted her life to God. Her passions were knitting and playing Christian songs on the organ. Hanna's loving words, and positive life compliments, encouraged you to be a better person and to live for the Lord. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut Street, Winnipeg, with Pastor Heimo Bachmeyer officiating. Viewing prior to the service. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Dormer and all the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their kindness and compassionate care over the past 12 years. If lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Bible Society.
