NADINE HEATHER PRETTIE September 1, 1960 - August 17, 2012 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our daughter, sister and aunt, Nadine Prettie on Friday August 17, 2012, of myotonic dystrophy complications. Left to grieve her passing are her mother Clara, sister Melanie (Terry), brother Jason (Rhonda), nephews Robbie and Ritchie, nieces Jackie, Kendall and Arianna, as well as many relatives. She was predeceased by her nephew David, sisters Margot and Tracy and brother Craig. Nadine loved nothing more than to sit with her knitting and the challenge of puzzles to occupy her day, and of course old western movies. She could be stubborn nature, but always considerate and loving, soft spoken and a calming spirit to have present. Nadine appreciated all the help and assistance from staff at the East Gate Lodge and the Beausejour hospital. Many thanks go out to those who helped provide care to her. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at East Gate Lodge Chapel, 646 James Ave., Beausejour, MB.
