Ted and his mother (widowed, I believe?) lived about a block away from us on Main Street in Dauphin. We attended the Smith Jackson junior high school, same grade and age (he was 36 days younger than I). I appreciated Ted, always friendly, joking some, yet serious. I recall his desire to be in law enforcement. I expect he fulfilled his duties responsibly and well. He must have had some to do with Ken Dowson, another friendly acquaintance our age in the same school, who was also with the Winnipeg Police force until his unfortunate end in 1989. - Posted by: Victor Hafichuk (School friend) on: Jul 31, 2016
