VICTORIA FELICIA BLAIR (SPECHT)
Born: Jan 01, 1923
Date of Passing: Sep 21, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA FELICIA BLAIR (nee SPECHT) January 1, 1923 - September 21, 2012 Peacefully on September 21, 2012 Victoria passed away at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. She is lovingly remembered by her children Vivian (Gord) and Murray (Marcia), four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Earl, and two sons Robert and Clifton. Born and raised in Lac du Bonnet in a very large family, Vicky especially loved to swim and to play the piano with her many siblings. She spent several years at Investors Group where her aptitude for mathematics made her a valued employee. Mom's passion was her family - always ready with a hug and a smile. She was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She often said that she was fortunate to have such a loving family, but in fact it was we who were fortunate to have such an angel in our lives. She was a very caring person, generous to a fault, and spent her life helping others. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. We were so pleased with the excellent care mom received there and we know she will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at East Kildonan Baptist Church, 700 Watt Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment at the cemetery in Manitou will be held with family only at a later date.

What a beautiful picture of the Vicki I remember fondly working with at Investors Group so many years ago. I remember how crazy about horse racing she was, how truly funny and kind she was & how she loved her family. She really made us all laugh alot in the office. I've thought about her often over the years out here in the Okanagan Valley with very great memories of her. My condolences to you all. - Posted by: Sandy Fordeczka (I too worked with Vicki for many years at Investors Group) on: Sep 26, 2012

Life comes and goes but memories live on forever. Vivian and Gord - please know that we are thinking of you at this time. The memories that I have of your Mom, Vivian is how she would come to Prince Edward School and read with the kids. You showed us how a mother/daughter relationship truly should be. Take care and God Bless. - Posted by: Elaine Gelhorn (friend) on: Sep 26, 2012
