Left always to love and remember him in their hearts are his wife of 53 years, Joan, children Randy (Marta), Don (Allie), Nancy (Rick) and Brian (Marcie), eight grandchildren, siblings Bob, Lyall and Isabel, and many nieces and nephews. For more than 40 years Calvin fought with Multiple Sclerosis. In 1981 he retired early from the job he loved so much at Paul's Hauling. He spent the next 25 years fixing and inventing things in his workshop at home. After a serious fall in 2006 he moved into Donwood Manor where he was lovingly cared for. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle and positive spirit. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Donwood Manor, 171 Donwood Drive on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Donwood Manor.

Calvin was a amazing man, never letting MS stop him from doing the things he wanted to do. He was a craftsman once fixing a seat in my jeep that was stronger than the factory had built it. As I told his daughter, Calvin was a good man and that's more then most can say. - Posted by: Wayne L Lavallee ( family friend) on: Oct 14, 2012
