ISABELLE JESSEN Peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at St. Boniface Hospital, Isabelle Jessen, aged 89, beloved wife of Paul. Besides her beloved husband Paul, Isabelle is survived by daughter Paula Burke (Glenn), son Michael Jessen (Patti), grandchildren Ainsley, Robert, and Nicholas. She is also survived by one sister Elizabeth Humphrey, two sisters-in-law, Thelma Spafford, and Merle Spafford, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place, memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (c/o Prince of Peace Lutheran Church), 930 Winakwa Rd. Isabelle - I just saw this notice - very late but hopefully never too late to say how sorry I am to hear it. You kindly welcomed me as an addition to the family all those decades ago. I'm thousands of miles away now and no longer part of the family but happy to say I was glad to know you back then. Kind, generous, intelligent and sweet lady. My dear Auntie Isabelle. How cherished you are in my memory. You shaped my young boyhood when we enjoyed summer holidays with you, Uncle Paul and my sweet cousins, Paula and Michael. Their good character is a real credit to you and Uncle Paul. It is my firm belief that the the legacy of loving parents like you echoes for generations to come. May your children pick up where you left off.
