Oh I surely remember Frieda, kindness and laughter while being involved in so many church events. And running into her and her buddy Edith/Elly. She was such a joy. It is sad to see someone decline in health . But in seeing her at Eastgate I knew she was in great hands. And now she is in the hands of God. - Posted by: Lea Bangert (Friend) on: Nov 17, 2012

Was a faithful and regular participant at the club till her illness prevented her from coming. We always appreciated her presence and contribution to the event. in every way. - Posted by: Marina Wiebe (Friend, through Christian Women's Club) on: Oct 19, 2012

I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw Auntie Frieda at Thanksgiving when I went to pick up Mom. We had many little visits over the summer whenever I went to East Gate. I always looked forward to seeing her as it reminded me of all the fun we had growing up. I remember many things - her great recipes (especially the marshmallows), and shelling peas late at night. We also had a good visit when she came to the auction at the farm with Larry. Unfortunately I will be in Calgary this weekend visiting Garry and Brian before I leave for Arizona for the winter. So sorry I couldn't be there - my deepest sympathies - Sharon - Posted by: Sharon Smyth (Niece) on: Oct 17, 2012

We will remember Frieda's generous and happy personality; we were surprised to see, when we visited East Gate, her personality change due to her illness. We will remember her smiles. - Posted by: Norma Cone & Pastor Michael Cone (joint member at Zion with Frieda and former pastor.) on: Oct 16, 2012
