DONALD DORSET It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father Donald Edwin Dorset on Monday, October 22, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Dad will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Loreen (James) and Brent (Sherry); grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea, Troy and Hailey. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Dorothy, in January 2012. Dad worked for the Dairy and Winnipeg Supply before owning his own Texaco Service Stations. He loved to golf and was a member at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club. Dad and Mom enjoyed dining there with family and friends. Our parents spent many winter vacations in both Hawaii and Texas. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Donald to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. The family thanks Dr. Mohammed and the nursing staff of Concordia Hospital for their care and support.
