I was shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Dave Semenko. As a childhood friend of Tamara and Rena, I knew him to be a quiet, kind man with a wealth of knowledge. He will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Sandra Bodnar (Childhood friend to Tamara and Rena and also former student) on: Feb 16, 2013

Dad….I love you and miss you so much, already. I can’t believe you're gone! I thought you’d had at least another 10 years with us, like your mom. You were a one in a million dad and in your quiet way had such a huge heart and would do anything you could for family. You had such a high capacity for thought and reason……carrying on in your footsteps is a very tall order, but you taught me well. Your loving daughter, Tamara - Posted by: Tamara Semenko-Farion (daughter) on: Oct 29, 2012

Mr. Semenko was my Principal during my elementary years at Happy Thought School in East Selkirk. He demanded respect and responsibility from all the students. He lead by example. He will fondly be remembered for that direction. - Posted by: Willy Cole (Former student) on: Oct 28, 2012

Our family lived one mile north of the Semenko's home. They ran the local Post Office and I recall picking up the mail when I was very young. My Condolence to the entire Semenko Family! - Posted by: James Panas (Third Cousin) on: Oct 27, 2012
