Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my beloved Uncle Bill. EVERYBODY loved Bill's kind and thoughtful ways. Once you met Bill you never forgot him. He ALWAYS went out of his way to accommodate, to lend an ear or a hand. I LOVED my Uncle and am so sorry that I will not have the opportunity to see him and tell him one more time, just how much he meant to my family and me. His kind and unselfish ways were an inspiration to all. I know Bill is now up in HEAVEN with his loving parents and siblings. Our loss is Heaven's gain. God Bless You, Uncle Bill!! Love your niece, Jill Silverthorne Ferguson - Posted by: Jill Ferguson (niece) on: Nov 19, 2012

  • I was so sorry to hear that Uncle Bill passed away. My memories are of the kindness he showed his family over the years. He was our mother's older brother, whom she adored! I think the whole family adored Bill. When his parents (my grandparents) Bill and Bea Boutell retired to Victoria he made several trips out to see them, always bringing his nurturing and loving ways with him. They looked so forward to Bill coming out to visit and he would putter along side grandpa, and talk to grandma for hours. They were always so sad when he had to leave. When my mother, Marguerite (Marg Silverthorne) was stricken with cancer he made several trips out to Calgary to see her, which gave her such comfort. That was Uncle Bill. We will all miss him. He is now with his adoring parents, brothers and sister. I'm so sorry for his family, such a loss. - Posted by: Jan Corner (niece ) on: Nov 15, 2012
