LILLIAN (LIL) ESTHER SCHULTZ Lil passed away peacefully, on Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 88 years. Lil was a proud and devoted mother and will be lovingly remembered by her only child Robert Brian Schultz of Toronto, granddaughters Kelly Anne and Katherine (Kate) Elizabeth, brother Ken Stein, one nephew, and several nieces as well as a number of cousins. She was predeceased by brothers Alfred and Edward, and sister Evelyn. Lil was born in Winnipeg on August 21, 1923 and spent approximately 40 years working at Burns Food Ltd. as a first-aid nurse. She lived at the Fred Douglas Lodge for the past three and a half years and the family wishes to thank the staff for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Lil will be laid to rest next to her loving mother Wanda Stein at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
