PAUL HAWRYSHKO On November 29, 2012, Paul, (affectionately Grandpa' to the family), aged 88, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital. His memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife of 65 years, Anna, son Eugene (Michelle), daughter Helen, grandson Dane (Sherri), granddaughter Jill, and great-granddaughter Savannah. Paul lived a long and healthy life. He worked 31 years at CNR. He was proud of his heritage and was active in the Ukrainian community volunteering at the Canadian Institute Prosvita, singing in the choir, and was an active member at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral for over 50 years. He cared lovingly for his family and was very social, always surrounded by family and friends. To his last days he happily chatted with anyone that crossed his path. He was very generous with his time and skills as a craftsman and was first in line to help anyone needing something fixed or built. And in his prime, there was no one smoother on the dance floor. Grandpa, we will miss your spirit, quick wit and easy smile. You will always be remembered, always cherished, and always loved. We would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at the Grace Hospital, especially Maria, for their compassionate care. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
