Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN STEFANYSHYN October 14, 1931 December 4, 2012 It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Stefanyshyn on December 4, 2012. Born in St. Boniface, MB, Helen grew up and received her education in Winnipeg. In 1953 she married the love of her life, Mike. Helen was a very loving and caring person who was especially devoted to her family. Her aim in life was to help and please everyone with whom she came in contact. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Mike, her brother Walter Murdzak and her parents Harry and Mary Murdzak. Helen leaves to treasure her memory her daughter, Karen Shakespeare (Norman), her son Greg (Kim), her cherished grandson Michael Bosko (Christine) and his family, her cherished granddaughter Paige Stefanyshyn and her family, sisters Jean Korol and Carol Murdzak, nephews Walter Korol and Joseph Korol and their families, and her devoted dog and companion Sonny Jr. At Helen's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Marc Whitehead on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. Carol and Jeannie: I wish to extend my most sincere sympathies to you on the passing of Helen. Although it will not be the same as having Helen here with you, you will have endless happy memories of the sister-trio you enjoyed for all these years.
