Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAN VANDAS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jan on December 3, 2012 after a brief struggle with cancer. He was predeceased by his daughter Jana, and is survived by his wife Eva, son-in-law Brian Hagglund and granddaughters Krista and Jessica. He also leaves behind many family and friends in the Czech Republic. Jan was born on March 12, 1935 in Prague and brought his family to Canada in 1968 and made Winnipeg their home. In accordance with Jan's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the charity of their choice
